Traffic Alert On the Occasion of Eid Miladun Nabi Julus Procession South Mumbai & Western Sububrs 

Traffic police have closed 20 roads, mostly in south Mumbai, for vehicular movement from 3pm till late night,

The biggest procession will begin from Khilafat House in Byculla*around 3pm, climb Byculla bridge to reach Agripada and then move towards Bhendi Bazaar to culminate at Crawford Market. JJ flyover will be closed for south-bound traffic

Dr B A Road (only south-bound traffic) from Dadoji Kondev junction up to Khada Parsi junction, Nagpada junction to Belassis Road in Mumbai Central, Nagpada junction to Dimtimkar Road, Mohammed Ali Road (Mandvi to Chakla Market junction), Abdul Rehman Street, Dr D N Road (Himalaya House to L T Marg junction), and Ibrahim Rehmatulla Road

Motorists travelling to South Mumbai have been advised to use Chinchpokli bridge, N M Joshi Marg, S bridge right turn, K K Marg, Saat Raasta Circle, Sane Guruji Marg, Dr A Nair Road to Dr D B Marg, M K Road and further south.

 JJ flyover will be open only for north-bound traffic.

Suburbs Traffic Alert Commuters requested to take the routes as follows

1) From Malad S V Road,- A-1 Darbar right turn to Relief Rd- Anand Nagar left to  Kajupada right turn-to Tarapur jnc. to IOC jnc. to JV PD left turn to Rajiv Gandhi Bridge to WEH.

2.) From WEH  to Rajiv Gandhi Bridge left turn to SV Rd is prohibited
From WEH to Thakre bridge left turn to SV Rd is prohibited
