Leaders of the INDIA bloc, led by Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, were seen marching on the streets of Delhi. The march culminated at the Supreme Court. The INDIA bloc has been frequently protesting to demand the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. However, the situation escalated to the point where, alongside demanding Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation, the Congress party began calling for the resignation of Supreme Court Chief Justice Surya Kant. We say this because Kerala Congress posted a message on social media stating, “If law and order is not your concern, then just resign; we will bring in someone else who can handle these matters.” However, shortly after the post gained traction, Kerala Congress removed—or deleted—it.
