It is alleged that the agency engaged by the JPSC to conduct the exam had already been blacklisted in Uttar Pradesh; this raised serious questions regarding cut-offs, merit lists, and OMR sheets. As the controversy escalated, the case was handed over to the CID—which has arrested 10 individuals so far—while the Jharkhand government has been forced to postpone nine recruitment examinations. Meanwhile, in Ranchi, unemployed aspirants have taken to the streets, pleading for justice.
