Uproar over NEET in Bihar: Stone-pelting and lathi-charge in Katihar; DM office gheraoed in Begusarai

The agitation against the NEET paper leak continues to spread. Following the protests in Patna, the unrest is now extending to other districts of Bihar. On Thursday, thousands of protesters took to the streets in Katihar and Begusarai. In Katihar, a confrontation broke out between the police and protesters, involving a lathi-charge followed by stone-pelting. Meanwhile, in Begusarai, students and various student organizations marched to the District Magistrate’s (DM) office to demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
