Uzma Khan sets out on the Kanwar Yatra wearing a burqa; says, “I want to embrace Sanatan Dharma.”
A unique scene unfolded during the Kanwar Yatra in Bulandshahr. Uzma Khan, a resident of Rabupura in Noida, embarked on the pilgrimage while wearing a burqa. She collected holy water from the Ganges at ‘Chhoti Kashi’ in Anupshahr and began the journey on foot, driven by her devotion to Lord Bholenath. This marks the second consecutive time Uzma Khan has undertaken the Kanwar Yatra. Expressing her views on Sanatan Dharma, she described it as the best faith and voiced her desire to convert to it. She also sharply retorted to Maulana Sajid Rashidi’s remarks regarding the Kanwariyas.
