Well water flows for 5 days in Gujarat’s Morbi; panic grips locals
Water from a well in Veerparda village, located in Gujarat’s Morbi district, flowed continuously for five days, sparking panic among the villagers. Many interpreted this as a sign of an impending earthquake. Upon receiving the information, the district administration and a geology team inspected the site. District Collector Swapnil Khare clarified that there were scientific reasons behind the incident and that it had no connection to any potential earthquake. The administration urged the public not to believe rumors and to rely solely on official information.
