42 former judges back Election Commission; letter states this is political opposition, not public dissent
Delhi: Amid the ongoing political turmoil regarding alleged irregularities in voter lists and the electoral process, a large group of former judges has come forward. In an open letter, 42 retired judges have expressed serious concern over attempts to undermine the Election Commission, the judiciary, and constitutional institutions. The former judges have also questioned the allegations of ‘vote theft’ made without evidence.
