Bangla Sahib Controversy: FIR against Arvind Kejriwal; AAP approaches Akal Takht
Political tensions have escalated following the events at the Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in Delhi. Acting on a complaint filed by the DSGMC, the Delhi Police have registered an FIR against Arvind Kejriwal and AAP leaders. The committee alleges that political slogans were raised within the Gurudwara premises, violating religious decorum. Meanwhile, AAP MLAs Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Jeevanjot Kaur, and Baljinder Kaur visited Sri Akal Takht Sahib in Amritsar to submit a memorandum. The AAP leaders alleged that police personnel entered the Gurudwara premises wearing shoes, thereby hurting the religious sentiments of Sikhs. Jathedar’s media advisor Jaskaran Singh and BJP leader H.S. Phoolka have also commented on the matter. All eyes are now on the police investigation and subsequent actions regarding this controversy.
