Mumbai, Maharashtra: Following the death of IIT Bombay student Sahil Wakode under suspicious circumstances, his parents have leveled serious allegations and demanded the immediate arrest of Institute Professor Suryanarayan Dulla and Director Shireesh Kedare. His father, Ravindra Wakode, stated that his son was being targeted with constant casteist remarks, while his mother, Sonali Wakode, emotionally recounted how she had advised her son to adjust to the situation, believing that studying at such a prestigious institute would benefit his future. The Crime Branch is investigating the matter; meanwhile, the Bharatiya Vidyarthi Morcha and the RPI student wing staged a massive protest outside the IIT Bombay campus, demanding justice.
