From ‘mock parliament’ to the 1984 riots: Amit Shah lashes out at Rahul, says he ‘rubbed salt into the wounds’

Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi and the Congress during a rally in Chandigarh. Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi over the ‘mock parliament’ held during the INDIA bloc’s rally at Ramlila Maidan, Shah remarked that he should keep holding such mock parliaments if he aspires to become Prime Minister—though his turn will never come. Meanwhile, referring to a Congress rally held on the anniversary of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, Shah alleged that Rahul Gandhi had effectively ‘rubbed salt into the wounds’ of the Sikh community.
