Havoc from floods and landslides in Nepal: 320 Indians still missing; MEA provides major update
Concerns regarding the safety of Indians persist following the severe floods and landslides in Nepal. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, continuous efforts are underway to evacuate Indian citizens stranded in the Nepal and Tibet regions. Contact has not yet been established with 320 Indian citizens in Nepal, whereas approximately 400 Indian citizens located on the Chinese side are safe. India has already dispatched humanitarian aid to Nepal for relief and rescue operations and is now preparing to send a tunnel rescue team and a medical team.
