A truly proud and magnificent scene unfolded in Melbourne during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Australia. Prior to bilateral talks and diplomatic meetings, PM Modi received a formal and state welcome in Melbourne. On this special occasion, an Australian military contingent presented a ‘Guard of Honour’ to PM Modi, accompanied by the playing of the Indian national anthem. Following their meeting in Melbourne, PM Modi and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese held a joint press conference to announce agreements in several sectors, including defense, trade, energy, space, and critical minerals.
