‘Lakhpati Didi’ scheme empowers women to become self-reliant; they extend birthday wishes to PM Modi
UP/MP/Odisha: Self-reliant women form the strong foundation of the resolve for a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India). When women are economically empowered, families grow stronger, and society advances on the path of development. Guided by this visionary approach of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, continuous efforts are being made to make rural women self-reliant. By joining Self-Help Groups, women in villages are transforming their skills into livelihoods and becoming the economic backbone of their families. The stories of ‘Lakhpati Didis’ from Chandauli (Uttar Pradesh), Neemuch (Madhya Pradesh), and Kendujhar (Odisha) serve as shining examples of this. Having achieved self-reliance, these women have not only transformed their families’ fortunes but also shared their success stories while extending birthday greetings to PM Modi.
