Yogi attacks encephalitis, mafia, and anarchy; says UP’s identity has changed

Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh: While inaugurating and laying the foundation stones for development projects in Gorakhpur, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath targeted previous governments. Referring to the filth, disease, mafia presence, and anarchy that plagued Gorakhpur prior to 2017, he attributed the situation to the “filthy mindset” of the SP-Congress governments. Yogi highlighted the control of encephalitis, improvements in law and order, and development projects as the hallmarks of the “new UP.”
