PMEGP Scheme Transforms Lives of Lakhs of Youth; Beneficiaries Extend Birthday Wishes to PM Modi

Patna/Dhamtari: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary outlook and public welfare schemes have brought prosperity to the lives of people across all sections of society—including youth, farmers, and women—over the past few years. The Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), launched under PM Modi’s leadership, has empowered lakhs of young people across the country to realize their dreams and become successful entrepreneurs. Manoj Sharma, a businessman from Kankarbagh, Patna, is one such beneficiary. Once compelled to work in another city, Sharma availed a loan under the PMEGP scheme and established a company named ‘Caterpillar Solutions’ in Patna, which manufactures medical furniture. Today, his company generates a turnover of crores and provides employment to 25 people. With Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday falling on September 17, Sharma has made preparations to celebrate the occasion in a grand manner. Similarly, Shakir Khan from the Dhamtari district of Chhattisgarh opened his own hotel-restaurant after benefiting from the PMEGP scheme. By leveraging the Modi government’s initiative, he has become self-reliant and provides employment to 6–7 people. He states that had the Modi government not introduced this scheme, his dream of becoming an entrepreneur would have remained unfulfilled. Shakir Khan has also extended his birthday greetings to PM Modi, wishing him a long and healthy life.
