LPG shortage ke beech government ne black marketing aur cylinder diversion rokne ke liye ek simple digital system launch kiya hai — DAC (Delivery Authentication Code), jo ek OTP-based verification system hai.
Is system me jab bhi koi LPG cylinder book hota hai, to customer ke registered mobile par ek OTP (DAC code) aata hai. Cylinder delivery ke waqt ye OTP delivery boy ko dena compulsory hota hai, tabhi delivery complete hoti hai.
Government ne is system ka coverage 53% se badha kar 72% deliveries tak pahucha diya hai aur target hai ki 80% LPG deliveries OTP-based ho jayein.
Experts kehte hain ki yeh ek low-cost but high-impact solution hai jo LPG supply chain me transparency la sakta hai aur ensure karega ki subsidised gas sach me households tak hi pahuche
