Social activist aur Narmada Bachao Andolan ki leader Medha Patkar ke khilaf Delhi ke lieutenant governor Vinai Kumar Saxena ne defamation ka case file kiya tha jo pichle 20 saal se bhi pehle se chal raha tha.

Delhi ke Saket court metropolitan magistrate Raghav Sharma ne iss mamle ki sunwai karte hue 24 May ko Medha Patkar ko doshi tehraya tha.

Iss mamle me court ne kal Medha Patkar ko saza sunate hue 5 month ki jail aur Rs 10 lakh jurmana Vinai Kumar Saxena ko dene ka order diya.
