Following the spurious liquor incident in Madhya Pradesh, the Sagar district administration and police have intensified their crackdown on the illegal liquor trade. On Sunday, a bulldozer was used to demolish ‘Munmun Dhaba,’ located on the national highway. The *dhaba* was operating illegally and has now been razed to the ground. Reports indicate that there had been persistent complaints regarding the sale of illicit liquor and other suspicious activities linked to the establishment. Taking these complaints seriously, a team comprising district administration officials and police personnel arrived at the site and carried out the demolition in the presence of a heavy police force.
