The clamor raised by opposition MPs persists both within and outside Parliament. Today, they staged protests demanding a statement from Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the police action during the students’ demonstration at Jantar Mantar on July 20 and the alleged theft of Ram Mandir donations. Launching an attack on the central government, Akhilesh Yadav stated that the truth is they seek to capture institutions, adding that the BJP is essentially a “land mafia” party. Meanwhile, BJP MPs questioned the opposition’s conduct.
