The nation celebrated PM Modi’s birthday with great enthusiasm. Various events were held across the country on Thursday to mark his 76th birthday. A nationwide campaign titled ‘Aashirwad ka Diya’ (Lamp of Blessings) is being conducted to commemorate both his birthday and the completion of 25 years of his public life. As part of this BJP-organized campaign, leaders and citizens alike lit lamps at their homes between 6 PM and 7 PM to pray for PM Modi’s long life. In Ujjain, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and BJP National President Nitin Naveen inaugurated the campaign by lighting lamps; Chief Ministers from several other states also participated by lighting lamps.
