Police assure CJP leaders: Swatantra to be arrested within 72 hours!

The incident involving the alleged assault on Sanjay Kumar—father of Nishu Azad—during a protest by the ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ (CJP) at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar is escalating. Following the emergence of a video on social media purportedly showing Swatantra Bhardwaj confessing to the act, CJP leader and Nagina MP Chandrashekhar Azad visited the Sansad Marg Police Station on Friday, September 4. He met with police officials and demanded immediate action in the matter. After a discussion lasting nearly two hours, police action on the case is set to move forward; the Delhi Police have stated that charges under the SC/ST Act will be invoked against Swatantra Bhardwaj.
