Delhi: A major commotion ensued during a Congress protest against the Election Commission in Delhi. Police stopped Congress leaders—including Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi—as they were marching from Sansad Marg towards the Election Commission headquarters; following this, the leaders staged a sit-in near the Akashvani Bhavan complex. Protesting the police action, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi insisted on proceeding to the Election Commission. The Delhi Police subsequently removed Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and other protesting leaders from the premises.
