Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, has launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Modi. On X (formerly Twitter), Rahul Gandhi wrote: “It has been 24 hours since I issued this challenge to you. You claim that the opposition is ‘anti-national.’ Choose any venue—any stage—and debate me.” He further proposed a format: “We will meet, with the media and the nation’s youth present; we’ll have a table, with you sitting on one side and me on the other. You can appoint whoever you wish to act as the judge.” In response, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has hit back at Rahul Gandhi’s allegations, stating that the government is prepared to hold a discussion on the issue in Parliament.
