Setback for CM Hemant Soren: High Court stays decision to cancel 22 exams, including JSSC-GGL.

The Jharkhand High Court heard various petitions challenging the state government’s order to cancel JPSC examinations and recruitment processes. During Thursday’s hearing, the High Court granted significant relief to the petitioners by staying the government’s order. Notably, the government led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren had issued a notification on Tuesday cancelling 22 recruitment exams—conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission and an external agency—and ordering an inquiry into 23 other examinations.
