Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn Aur Tiger Shroff Ko FDA Ka Show Cause Notice

Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ne Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn, Shah Rukh Khan aur Tiger Shroff ko Vimal Pan Masala/Elaichi advertisements mein participation aur endorsement/promotional support ko lekar Show Cause Notice issue kiya hai.

Notice mein teeno actors ko Actor/Brand Endorser ke taur par address kiya gaya hai.
FDA ne Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 ke Section 24 ka reference diya hai, jo food se related misleading advertisements aur Act ke provisions ko violate karne wale advertisements par restrictions se related hai.

Notice ke mutabik, Vimal brand Maharashtra mein Pan Masala ke saath prominently associated hai, jahan prohibited substances contain karne wale Pan Masala par ban hai.

Actors se unke endorsement agreements, campaign briefs, product information, payment/endorsement arrangements ki copies aur details maangi gayi hain.

Saath hi campaign se judi advertising agency aur brand owner ki details bhi furnish karne ko kaha gaya hai.

Teeno actors ko notice receive hone ki date se 15 din ke andar written explanation aur supporting documents submit karne ko kaha gaya hai.

FDA ne kaha hai ki stipulated period mein explanation nahi milne ya explanation unsatisfactory paaye jaane par bina further notice ke further action initiate kiya ja sakta hai.
