Strong protest in Delhi against SIR; resignation of CEC Gyanesh Kumar demanded

A large number of people staged a protest against SIR near the Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in Delhi. Several organizations, including ‘People Against SIR’ and AISA, organized a march from Bangla Sahib to the Election Commission office. However, the police took the protesters into custody along the way. CPI leaders also participated in the demonstration. CPI MP P. Santosh Kumar stated, “We will intensify our movement in the coming days, and more people will join us. We will continue our agitation until Gyanesh Kumar resigns. It is certain that no one can save him.” Meanwhile, Yogendra Yadav asserted that the protest would continue unabated, adding, “If you shut down one Jantar Mantar, hundreds more will emerge.”
