UP Dominates BJP President Nitin Nabin’s New Team; Smriti Irani Gets Key Post
With assembly elections scheduled in Uttar Pradesh next year, the BJP has intensified its preparations. This move follows BJP President Nitin Nabin’s announcement of his new team. The list comprises a total of 65 leaders, including 13 Vice Presidents, 8 National General Secretaries, and 16 National Secretaries. While the team includes 13 women, a significant highlight is the inclusion of eight leaders from Uttar Pradesh. Among the leaders from UP, former Union Minister Smriti Irani is the most prominent name. Smriti Irani and Harish Dwivedi have been appointed as National General Secretaries, while Rekha Verma and Tariq Mansoor have been named National Vice Presidents. Additionally, Bhola Singh and Sangeeta Yadav have been appointed as National Secretaries; meanwhile, Amarpal Maurya has been given charge of the OBC Morcha, and Kunwar Basit Ali has been appointed President of the Minority Morcha.
