Food and Drug Administration ne 7 September 2026 ko Zepto Limited, Dattawadi, Kalwa, Thane mein inspection kiya.
Inspection ke dauran premises unclean condition mein mila, food containers improper tarike se store kiye gaye the, Cold Room aur Frozen Room ki cleanliness aur maintenance satisfactory nahi thi.
FDA ke mutabik food containers proper racks/pallets par nahi rakhe gaye the, Receiving, Picking aur Dispatch ke dauran zaroori cleanliness maintain nahi ho rahi thi.
Saath hi, purana aur jaldi expire hone wala stock pehle sell karne ka proper system follow nahi ho raha tha aur expired food products sale ke liye shelf par mile.
Storage equipment aur food area ki proper cleaning aur maintenance nahi ho rahi thi, garbage jama hua mila aur pest infestation ke signs bhi paaye gaye.
In serious food safety violations ke baad Zepto Kalwa ka FSSAI license turant suspend kar diya gaya.
