Desk: National politics has heated up following the protest against the Election Commission at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. After more than 700 people were detained during the demonstration, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav targeted the central government and the Election Commission, terming it an issue concerning democracy. Meanwhile, BJP leaders hit back at Akhilesh’s allegations, questioning opposition unity and the activities of the INDIA bloc.
