Cabinet Minister and Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) President Om Prakash Rajbhar has claimed that Uttar Pradesh will eventually be divided into four parts, and if Purvanchal becomes a separate state, a son of the Rajbhar community will become its Chief Minister. Following this statement made at a rally in Deoria, political discussions have intensified across the region, stretching from Purvanchal to Lucknow. Rajbhar’s remarks went beyond the mere division of UP; he also raised issues regarding social and political representation. At the rally, he reiterated the demand for a share in the 27% OBC reservation quota proportionate to population size and also brought up the issue of a caste census.
