Train turns into fireball at Shikohabad railway station; one injured in cylinder blast
Panic gripped Shikohabad railway station in Firozabad, UP, on Saturday afternoon when a massive fire suddenly broke out in a track maintenance coach parked near the railway goods shed. The fire was so intense that the entire coach was soon engulfed in roaring flames. Amidst the blaze, a cylinder inside the coach exploded. The sound of the blast triggered a stampede among the police personnel, railway staff, and others engaged in relief and firefighting operations; everyone scrambled to save their lives. One young man was injured in the incident. The fire was brought under control after about an hour and a half of strenuous effort.
