Uproar in Delhi over alleged ₹650 crore health scam; AAP protests against the government

Political turmoil has intensified in Delhi over an alleged ₹650 crore scam in the Health Department. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) staged a protest outside Delhi’s LNJP Hospital today, demanding the resignations of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Health Minister Dr. Pankaj Singh. AAP alleges large-scale financial irregularities in the procurement of medicines, ORS packets, bedsheets, portable X-ray machines, and other medical equipment for government hospitals. Meanwhile, following a preliminary inquiry, the case has been handed over to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
