It is the 125th birth anniversary of Syama Prasad Mukherjee, the founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh. On this occasion, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Ministers, and Chief Ministers of various states paid their tributes. Recalling his nationalism, commitment to national unity and an undivided India, and his dedication to serving the nation, they described him as a source of inspiration for the people of the country. PM Modi also penned a letter on this occasion.
