A landmark step towards inclusive education in Mumbai.
Anjuman-I-Islam’s Khairul Islam (AKI) has taken over the management of two Mumbai Public Schools, Umar Rajjab English Medium School and Patharwali English Medium School, from the academic year 2026-27.
With this initiative, nearly 1,200 students from economically weaker sections will receive quality English-medium education completely free of cost, opening new doors of opportunity and empowering the next generation through learning.
Education remains the most powerful tool for social transformation, and this effort reflects AKI’s continued commitment to accessible, equitable, and quality education for all.
