Major crackdown on illegal drug trade in Chatra; youth arrested with brown sugar worth ₹5 lakh

Chatra, Jharkhand: The police have achieved a major breakthrough against the illegal drug trade in Chatra. A young man was arrested in the Giddhaur police station area with 20.98 grams of brown sugar, valued at approximately ₹5 lakh. According to the police, WhatsApp chats recovered from the accused’s mobile phone have provided a new lead for the investigation into the drug network.
