PM Modi @76: Service, Resolve, and Best Wishes—How the Prime Minister’s Birthday is Being Celebrated Across the Country

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is celebrating his 76th birthday today. Various events are being organized nationwide to mark the occasion. Prayers, *havans*, and *yagnas* were performed in some places, while *Ganga Aarti* and the lighting of lamps were held in others to pray for the Prime Minister’s good health and long life. At Kashi’s Ahilyabai Ghat, 76 young Vedic students (*batuks*) offered prayers and performed *Dugdhabhishek* (ritual bathing with milk) for Mother Ganga. A *havan-yagna* took place at the Ved Mandir in Jammu. In Vadnagar, PM Modi’s birthplace, a *Maha Aarti* was held and a ‘Seva-Sankalp’ (Service and Resolve) campaign was launched. A *yagna* involving 1,008 *kunds* (sacred fire pits) was organized in Rishikesh. Other highlights included a cleanliness drive in Ayodhya, the ‘Run for Viksit Bharat—Fit India’ event in Delhi, and a special sand art creation by Sudarsan Pattnaik in Puri.
