The person who said “Modi won’t go…” turns out to be a Congress worker; Amit Shah and Nitin Navin lash out over Kharge’s remarks.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has once again stirred a political controversy with his statements. During a Congress public rally held in Patna, Bihar, on October 25, 2026, a young man remarked regarding PM Modi that “Modi won’t go.” In response, the Congress President made a sharp retort, stating, “Even Modi’s father will have to go; Modi has a habit of lying.” According to reports, Congress workers even assaulted the individual. It is claimed that the person who made the remark—”Modi won’t go”—is, in fact, a Congress worker himself; his name is Santosh Kumar, and he hails from Chhapra. In other words, the person who was beaten—and the one who drew Kharge’s ire—was not from the BJP, but from the Congress party. Kharge’s statement has now ignited a major political uproar, drawing strong reactions from Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP leader Nitin Navin.
